October 21, Good morning Montana
« on: October 21, 2008, 02:16:54 AM »
Good Morning everyone, Up early this morning.  Headed to the big city--Great Falls.  It 37 degrees this morning and cloudy.

I have to pick up some RL15, some primers and a couple of heavy duty work benches.  Also have to pick up some white cotton rope for slow match for my cannons.  Oh yeah and the wife wants to hit Sams and clean them out, she likes to buy stuff in bulk.  You know things like a 55 gallon drum of salad dressing,  a pallet of bread and a bale of hot dogs.

Hey those cannons can be loads  ::)  of fun, pun intended.  I was at a function one time for a Veterans day at Lake Mary Ronan.  Some boaters were not paying attention when they had been warned ahead of time for the days events.  It was quite funny to watch them from the 1st charge, 2nd charge and then the 3rd charge fired from the brass cannons that were there that day.

I really enjoyed it... I will have to see if I can find my pictures, scan and post.

Yep, Great Falls would a definition of a big city here in Montana to bad you got to drive all the way there, it will make you miss home.

Shoot rush hour traffic in Cut Bank?  That's a cattle drive.

Traffic, now there is something we noticed when we came back to Cut Bank, traffic. We can see a use for a second stop light.  The City cop could turn it to flashing yellow after 6PM and before 7AM and all day Sunday.
