can buy one in Oklahoma for I think 789 plus tax. I got a blue/walnut encore quite a bit cheaper and could not be happier with it. I do not see $200 to $300 difference in encore and pro hunter but you have to get what you want!! I found mine on gunbroker with a thompson 3x9-40 and mounts, looks like new for $399 + $25 shipping.
Thanks,

Just got sale add for Cabelas Black Pro Hunter Endevor SS 50 cal. for $799.00 and a mail in rebate for $50.00 total cost $749.00 this is only $10.00 more than I paid for my Pro Hunter last December at Sportsmans Warehouse after a little negotiations holding them to a sale add stating all T/C, Knight, CVA muzzel loaders 15% off they claimed it didn,t include Encore as they are firearm! I said Box said Thompson Center Pro Hunter 209 magnum muzzel loader. Manager gave in LOL

Add states $50.00 mailin rebate on Encore and $25.00 on barrels might be a T/C offer that could apply to any purchase! I have a small dealer hear that sales barrels cheaper than the high price Cabelas charge. I'm going to go see him to see if it is a T/C rebate cause that would get me a barrel for $254.00

I do have both Cabelas and Sportsmans Warehouse within 20 mile drive so I don't have to worry about shipping charges this could affect your cost plus needing to ship to licenced dealer.
