"Graf Black Powder, A new formulation developed by Wano Schwarzpulver of Germany for Graf and Sons utilizing premium grade Alder Charcoal.  alder is one of the most preferred bases for sporting black powder due to it's lower residue/fouling characteristics as well as shot to shot, lot to lot consistency."

I have a mixed case of 1f and 2f on back order with Graf and they tell me that it should be in before the end of August. I'll test is out in my Sharps .45-120 and Browning .40-65 to see what its worth in cartridge guns. If no decent results there i'll just shoot it in my front loaders, they'll burn anything fairly well!
