Welcome to the board! I have to disagree with a couple of points in your post. To begin, I don't believe any pistol would be considered as the ideal entry weapon. That falls in the realm of arms such as the M4, MP5, and shotguns. I own a few Glocks and consider them great tools, but nowhere near "Perfect". The mdls 34/35 are both 9mm platforms, which even Gaston considers inadequate for the 10mm. Some even question it for the .40. The mdl 20 (Glock's 10mm full size platform) can be had with an aftermarket long slide and barrel, making it a 6" pistol. That might be more in line with what you had in mind. The FBI has already found the 10mm unsuited for them due to size and recoil issues anyway. Good Shooting!
