Moly remover
« on: October 26, 2008, 05:11:16 PM »
I still have several hundred rounds of the Combined Technologies moly coated partition gold bullets I got from Midway when they were on special for 4.99 for 50.  They are 308 and 150 grain.  I read somewhere about a moly remover but can't find it.

Is there something I can remove the moly without damaging the bullets?

Nothing I ever heard of. You might try sand in your case tumbler. I won't promise it won't hurt the bullets tho. Just regular case cleaning media is not much good at it but you could give that a try just be sure to dump the media afterward and clean the tumbler really good afterward.
