who makes rifle stocks
« on: November 08, 2008, 09:56:23 AM »
can I get a few suggestions one people to call for a rifle stock? I'd like it to be affordable. I know of boyds, richards microfit, hogue, mpi (specifically it will be going on a left handed mini-mauser. it's kind of obscure) who else can I call?

You can get rifle stocks from Midway. Just tell them what kind of gun you want stock for.

I've used Richards microfit. Good product but long wait. Like 5 months. I've also purcheased a couple on Ebay from smaller guys.

I have now sent an email to armtec. looks like a dollar buys you about 8 rand, which makes those stocks fairly affordable. email sent to bell and carlson as well. lets see if any of them make a left hand version.

any other suggestions on places to look?

What about Gunstocks, Inc. ??

Do they still advertise here?  They made a semi-inletted stock for my Marlin, and it was very nice.  They even used my wood.

Gunstocks, Inc. still advertises here,  but their website is very confusing. I guess they only do buttstocks.  At least that is what their website seems to indicate.

boyds is out, gunstocks inc is out. I guess richards microfit is the only place that does such a thing. let the very very long wait begin. and no synthetic.
