Think about this...
« on: August 07, 2004, 08:41:52 AM »
The Clinton Agenda.
Bill & Hill, really don't want Kerry to win the election.
Here is why.
With Bush winning again, it will clear the way for Hill to make a run 2008.  8) If bush wins, he will be a "lame duck". Chainey will not run, so the Republicans will have to find a party guy to run just like the Demo's did this year.
THAT will open the door for Hillery & Obama in 2008. It will happen folks, you can bet on it!
Kerry will loose by a good margin, but he will loose with grace, unlike AL BORE.  :x
BUSH will clearly win this year to put aside the "Florida Landslide" thing and restore a sense of fairness in our election process again.
The DEM'S will try to usher in a "New Era" with Hillery & Obama.  8) They will say that "the time has come to try something new"  They will say we have done the same thing so long, with the same old results.  :(   THE TIME HAS COME!    And the Democratic "sheeple" will follow right along. Anyone who balks will be called a racist, and a chauvinist woman hater.
The N.A.A.C.P. & N.O.W. will jump for joy!   8)  The Republican Party will be called "OLD FASHONED" & "OUT DATED"
It's not all that far out there people, step back and really look at it.
Ask yourself why would a guy that is only a candidate for a senate seat give a speach at the D.N.C.  :?  Obama was a big hit with the Dem's the guy has a talent for speaking, and comes across as one of the "people" so to speak.  8)
He is  the Dem's new "golden child" and the Clinton's know it.
Anyway, that's my opinion I could be wrong!

Matlock - I'm sure glad you're wrong about that.  There is simply no way herr frau von klinton will ever become president, period, no matter who the 2nd in command is.

Look at it this way - since 9/11 we have been faced with the reality that terrorism will continue to florish and they always look for the weakest link, and that's what klinton is, the weakest link.  There is absolutely no way she could ever muster the courage it takes to fight that kind of a war and she will always be pressured by and listen to the liberal factions, who are basically gutless cowards who can't stand the thought of having to lift a hand in their own defense, much less someone else's.  Those ranks are full of the 'why should I worry about what happened to them crowd, it won't happen to me' types.  We get the same type in our shooting sports - 'why should I worry about someone banning assault weapons, I don't own any and they aren't interested in my huntingshotgun or my hunting rifle' when it comes to trying to defeat anti-hunting/rifle/pistol legislation.

The terrorists of this world want the weak liberals to be elected - then they know nobody will fight back.  Do ya'll really think that hillary would have taken the fight into Afganistan or Irag if the french had been the french and the germans had been the germans.  Nope, she would have sat right on her duff and stained her oversized panties every single time some suicide bomber had wiped out a busload of pilgrims or someone had threatened to attempt a terrorist act here.

While it is true that many American voters are just plain stupid, they ain't that stupid.  And, one thing the NAACP realizes is that without a strong American president to forstall terrorism,  the NAACP would simply be redefined as the National Association of Almost Cancelled People - once a group of people realizes they might be victimized, they will usually stand and fight.  I haven't ever met an American of color who isn't really willing to stand and fight for his or her rights and freedoms - and there are a fair number who are quick enough to say that if it comes to a fight they are getting ol betsy from behind the door and loading he up.  Don't count them out.

As for the NOW - if that's the women's group you are referring to, best look out ol buddy - ain't nothing so bad to have to deal with as a group of 'don't want to be victimized' women who think that they are going to be victimized.  They may be the 'let's wait until' crowd but once they realize they can't wait any longer they will act decisively.

Anyhow, this is just my 2 cents worth, too.  Mikey.

Think about it for a second...
You have more young people getting out to VOTE than ever before.
They have been force fed the Liberal Agenda since grade school.
Who do you think they IDENTIFY with party wise?
As a group, they are growing in numbers.
They have no consept of "Sacrifice for the Greater Good" for others.
They want it all, they want it now, and think it is owed to them!
The "GREATEST GENERATION" gave birth to the "BABY BOOMERS" who brought forth "GENERATION X"
The WW2 generation is just about gone now.
77 million "BOOMERS" are turning 50 this year.
The era of common sense is comming to a close, like it or not.

Mikey-Matlock--
Both good thought processes and both have a chance too be true. It is a fact that those who will be in control of the future of this nation are now beginning to vote. Us old folks are going to be subject to their decisions, well, for a short while til we pass on to the other side of the river.
We, as a whole, have not done a good job of passing on good behavior too these younguns, have we. Guess we can't expect much from them as they only immolate our behavior.
We have not, as a nation, respected and cherished our rights. We, somehow, have passed on the party system rather than the individual system. Can be turned around but it is gonna be tough.
Now, more than ever, we are going too need to return to the Lord.
Blessings

Anytime any of you good folks have any doubts about your standing on the "SOCIAL PECKING ORDER" I invite you to just go down to your local Walmart on a sat, and take a good long look at folks.
What you see will scare you to the core of your soul.    Just watch how the perent's interact with there kid's. Look at how people come out in public dressed like bum's or worse.     Now I dont want to come off as a snob here, but it's not folks that dont know better. They come to town in a new SUV! It's not like they cant help it, or thats all they got to wear.
The truth IS they don't care what they look like, and have no self respect. People have lost basic social skills these days. They are just plain rude, dis respectful of everybody even to themselves.  :x
This IS who will be running things when we get old folks! Think about that deep in the night!
This is the bunch that will distroy the world one day.

Yep. We gave them Social Security taxes, a disgustingly huge federal gov't, huge gov't debt, affirmative action, & gun control. We threw away their rights to free speech, fair trials, and their property rights. What will they do to us to get even?

Relative to 2008: I agree that Cheney cannot run effectively for president in 2008.  For this reason I would not be suprised to see the RNC roll out a switcheroo on us with a new running mate.  Cheney will stand down because he wants to spend more time with his family; Bush will regrettfuly accept his decision and praise his good works and roll out a strong running mate from one of the questionable states.  It makes too much sense for it not to happen.  Why have a vice president who CAN'T run for president in 2008?  Even so, it isn't necessarily going to happen this way.

Who is "Obama?"

I think Hillary Clinton will be too big a challenge to people's resistance to and fear of change.  Not only is she a liberal with a history, she would be a first woman president.

Relative to the young people voting.  It is one thing to register to vote.  It is another to actually get out and vote.  Voting requires some diligence.  What if there is a heavy drinking party at the dorm the day before the election and there are some exams the day of the election?  What if the young voter is out of college and working for a living.  They probably won't get up early to vote before work.  What if they take a long lunch and have to work longer to get their 8 hours in?  What if they are meeting friends after work for dinner?  Too many things can interfere.  Sure, some of them will get out to vote, but how many will get peeled off because it takes a little effort to go vote?

Barrak (sp?) Obama is the Democratic cantidate for the Senate in Illinois. He's running against Allan Keyes. Obama is considered one of the rising stars in the Democratic party. Quote from an interview: "I'm in favor of common-sense gun safety laws." Need I say more????

gino:

I get it!  Common sense gun safety laws.  If we need to make a law, it means that presently guns are unsafe.  Well hell, any idiot knows that!  If you load a gun, point it at something, snap off the safety, and pull the trigger, that something is blown to smithereens!  Obviously unsafe.  Maybe a common sense gun law would be to require that the gun not fire until you recite Ted Kennedy's name spelled backwards three times correctly in less than 5 seconds?

Yah, there is a lot to meditate upon in that "common sense gun safety laws."  I would like to add to this ripe expression -- though it has nothing to do with Obama -- John Kerry's statement that he "supports the second amendment as it has come to be interpretted in this country."

Now that is a mouthful of doublespeak, doncha think?  Well, I'm glad he doesn't support the second amendment as it has come to be interpretted in some other country or perhaps on an alien world.  He doesn't say interpretted by whom, though, and this causes me much trepidation.  I don't think he means as it has come to be interpretted by the NRA in this country or by gun owners in this country.

Matlock ,right up until you get to where we are today , Obama will go Down ,Hillary was unelectable,so the DNC had no choice but to do it this way.
Honestly i don't think Bush ,Obama ,or anyone else thought that it would shift this way this fast.
The media will abandon Obama as soon as one of these scandals goes ballistic.
obama gets the boot as well as all the ridicule , Biden moves in and appoints Hillary as VP.
Biden is ill, he steps down ,there you have it.
If it seems to crazy ,think ,it is also to easy.
Either way ,i don't see anymore elections for a long time ,at least not honest ones.
The 1st ,2nd ,22nd Amendments are the ones immediately under fire.
