336 W front/rear sights
« on: October 29, 2008, 05:01:24 PM »
I just recently bought a used Marlin 336 W in 30-30 and the previous owner thoughtfully removed the front and rear sights but left the weaver scope mounts on it, thank God.  Anyone have a pair of sights they want to get rid of?  Also on all the parts list it shows two screws and my bbl only has one screw hole.  Do all the W's only have one front screw hole?  Anywhoo if any one can help me out with a set I sure would be thankfull.  If this is in the wrong place to post this, please move to appropriate spot.   Thanks
Norman

It is not the right place if you are asking to buy the sights.  Then it needs to go in the classifieds board.  If you are asking if anyone knows where you can buy them it is ia good place, or if someone has a set they want to give you and contacts you off the list that is OK.

Go to Marble's web site: http://www.marblearms.com/ for what were probably the original sights.  Otherwise try Williams: http://www.williamsgunsight.com/

If you can't find what you need, give them a call or e-mail and they will be able to tell you what you need.
