Which Barrel
« on: October 28, 2008, 11:55:22 AM »
 ???

I'm getting back into Encores and just bought the Prohunter the other night with a .243 barrel.  I'm wanting to get another barrel also, but can't make my mind up which one I want.  I'm not big into heavy calibers, and want it to play around with and shoot alot.  I thought of the .22LR but want to maybe catch somebody with one for sell because I don't want to spend $300.  Also thought about a .223, or maybe going with something none of my friends have.  I reload, so thats not going to be a problem.

What do you suggest?

Tons of cheap bullets for 223 there everywhere but IMHO I love a 22-250 fast flat not to mention hollow points blow rabbits and praire dogs into little pieces love when that happens! it's great on Coyotes, Bob Cats at long range I've even killed deer with it!

Or do like most and just keep buying till you have one of everything! ;D
