no harm Yooper77,
seems most are divided along tradition and modern . I started with a TC renegade i put together from a kit , shot lee real bullets i poured myself . Would hate to go back to it ! Although it helped collect deer and turkey .
love the Encore with 777 and sabots . Last year i did not clean my gun , cleaned it sunday bbl. looks like new . Before cleaning it looked like it had a growth in it.
Like I said iI use BP to exten my season .
No harm here either.
I love my side locks and still use them.
I have the following:
T/C 50 caliber Treehawk, percussion (1:20" twist)
T/C 50 caliber Pennsylvania Hunter, percussion (1:66" twist)
