wants a Nationalist Party
« on: October 30, 2008, 08:59:43 PM »
I have come to the conclussion that I am not really angry at the Democrat party, it is what it is and we all know what it is. It is and has been for the last 70-80 years, the party of big government, abrigated rights and marxist ideals. What really fires me up are the spineless, "quizling" Republicans. How often do we need to feel their long knives buried in our backs only to be told we should be thankfull it was they and not the Democrat who stabbed us? I elect Republicans to represent and serve me but it never turns out that way. For them my anger boils over.
I would like to see a Rightwing Nationalist party gain ascendence in order to drag this country back from the edge of the socialist abyss. The way I see it, we have slid so far left that two terms under the likes of
Fransisco Franco would only barely start to move us in the right direction.
I want my liberty back, I want to keep what is mine and I want the traitors punished.

Well, you now have two to choose from; the Libertarian Party and the Constitutional Party.
It is just that as of now it would be a wasted vote. Maybe, after Obama gets through with us, a third party might be viable. Google both.
The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson

Agreed. I have felt for a long time that we have been forced to vote Republican just to resist the Democrat with anything approaching a fighting chance. I like the Constitutional Party but right now I am angry and want to see those I consider traitors punished. Who do I consider traitors? Those who would take from me (and my countrymen) what is rightfully ours and give it to those who have not earned it, those who would take away our liberty for whatever pretext and those who would have us punished for being successful in our endevors. In a word, liberals.

I fully agree! They do not realize that when government takes away from the productive citizens and businesses to give to the nonproductive or failed banks (minus government commissions) it leaves less capital in the economy for production of goods and services and the real economy suffers. The government cannot give anything to anyone without first taking it away from productive people. When they do it by printing money, they are still extracting it from productive society in the form of inflation. Inflation has many consequences other than just the obvious. Now the Libertarians understand this. They would put us back on the gold standard.

My fear is that if they keep greasing the pump (failed Keynesian economics) with electronically printed currency, it will eventually lead to hyperinflation and a worthless monetary system. The Weimar Republic, Venezuela, Brazil, Russia, and many banana republics have already shown the way and we are on that path. Obama will good worker on that not so long road.
