savage model 12 question

i have a opportunity to get a barrel chambered in 204 ruger for it . it is chambered in 22-250 now will this require a bolt face change? Can you change the bolt faces?

The Savage bolt action is a technological marvel in swapping calibers.  It is being copied by other manufactures, the sincerest flattery.  The bolt face can be removed and another installed, allowing you to swap back and forth, just like the barrels.

If I'm not mistaken, the bolt head for the .223 works for the .204.
