Ruger LCP recall
« on: October 30, 2008, 04:59:44 PM »
Saw today on Ruger's website they are doing a recall on the LCP because of some that have fired when dropped. They are replacing the hammer assembly to cure the problem.
My question is since a LCP is basically a Kel-Tec P3AT does the P3AT have the same problem?  Was thinking on getting one or the other but have been leaning towards the Kel-Tec figuring the bugs were already worked out.
Anyone know if the P3AT has any history of problems? Thanks
Andrew

I'm not upset about the recall, I'll get a free mag with finger extension and some other upgrades. They are talking a one week turn around.

I didn't figure anyone would mind the recall. Has a friend that has 3 of the LCP's and he's lovin gettin a free mag and finger ext. for each one. Just wondered if it was a Ruger problem or one that might carry over to the P3AT.
 Got your email Holiday. Thanks
