Anyone here use the lone wolf climbing treestand
« on: October 13, 2008, 06:01:51 PM »
Thinking about buying one , but man their pricey. Are they worth the money. I just sold a couple of my older heavier climbers. Looking for a lightweight one. I bowhunt so I dont like the big arm rests. Let me know what you guys think.   Jay

I have had one for years. They are light, compact and easy to use. I like the belt/cam system. Also very durable with no problems at all. I often carry just the seat portion for rifle season to have an "instant chair".

I love mine, it is very quiet, easy to pack around and very stable. Hunted out of a buddy's stand last friday, and really apreciate how quiet the Wolf is now. They are very well built and though spendy, are pretty much worth it.

I have a Lone Wolf Alpha hand climber with a butt strap (new for '08). The butt strap effectively makes it a sit and climb without the added weight and bulkiness of a traditional sit and climb. This is the best tree stand I have EVER owned PERIOD!! Light, easy to setup, quiet and most importantly I feel 100% safe. Comes with a long dvd that explains everything you need to know about the climber. I bow hunt, and gun hunt. I hate the bars that are usually in front of you. This stand has none of that. You really need to try one out at a dealer. Best money I've spent on deer hunting.
