November 7, Good morning Montana
« on: November 07, 2008, 01:51:33 PM »
Howdy everyone.  Got up this morning and went out deer hunting.  Saw deer all over the place except on the property I was hunting. Saw a small buck bedded down out on a ridge with five does.  Put a sneak on them and when I came over the last ridge , saw that they were really in the field beyond the ridge sitting on the edge of the fallow strip about 40 feet into the next property.

I didn't ask to hunt that propertry this year as we seldom see deer out there. Or if we do it's deer that have been spooked out from some where else headed cross country at a high rate of speed.

I have yet to go out this season and not see deer.

Guess that's why we call it hunting and not target practice.  Good luck.  DP
