housing and gun
« on: December 29, 2008, 11:25:37 AM »
well in the past i have said that i could not own guns at this time. well here is why. I live in houseing and you can't have guns there or they will kick you out. I don't really know if when you buy a gun if they can find out or not but if it comes down to having a gun or having a home, i will choose my home. were i used to live it was not own by houseing and you could own guns but were i live now is own by houseing. they had came to my home looking for guns cause someone i saw me buying ammo and reported me in. when i get a better job i will be getting from under the governments thumb.

I've offered several times to save you a few bucks by sending you a camera and developing the pictures free of charge... Maybe if times are so tough you should consider it?

Sounds like an open invitation to be robbed or worse in ones own home.  Personally I would have a gun hidden somewhere regardless of the rules.  Better to be kicked out of a house than carried out of one.  Not advising anyone to break the law, just saying in this case I would.

Well Jamal my young friend, I don't know what public housing in FL is like, but, in Atlanta, if they ran everyone that had a gun outa our public housing, all the projects would be empty!   ::)   ;)

i would buy a gun but i am not sure if they check that when you buy a gun. Were i used to live A LOT OF PEOPLE had guns, one man candy(that was his name for real) had a tech 9 he kept by his bed loaded. I might just buy a 38 or get that golck i have been wanting anyways because there been some crime happing because we got some new people in our building. If it was just me i would feel safe with my OC spray and my crkt m16 knife but i think my mom needs a gun more them me.

don't  draw  attention  to  yourself  but
get  someone  else  to  iquire  what  state  statude  you would be  in  violation  of

i  think  it  will  be  790. something

if  you  are  in  florida  we  have a pre-emption  law
so  only state   and federal  law  applies

i think  they  are  bluffing
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs

They are not bluffing. I think HUD is the federal agency that administers the housing he is in. They are quite serious about kicking folks out who have guns and have done so many many times. True it seems rather unconstitutional but that doesn't stop the government these days.
