November 11, 2008 Good Morning Montana

WOW it is so late in the day, and no one has posted yet?

Well I found out yesterday that I'm having surgery on Monday, the 17th where the bursa of my left shoulder will be removed.  Bottom line is that I believe this is my last week-end hunting for 2008 unless I feel up to it during the last week or closer to Thanksgiving week-end.  I don't know how much time next week I can afford to any message boards at all.

You all have a great rest of the day.

Take care of the shoulder. I'll take care of the board for you.

Filled the A tag this morning

Nice looking buck, Double D.  Looks as fat and sassy as the deer we took.  Get well soon on that surgery Montanan.  A guy don't want to miss to much field time, ya know.  Not working this sat. so want to get my 14 yr old boy back out to see if we can find a whitetail doe for him, and maybe a mulie doe for the old man, (me).   Pretty heavy frost on the car windows this morning.  Took about 5 min to scrape the windows on my little SUV.   Say a prayer for the vets and the men and women serving now.  They need it too.  Sack time now.  DP

Thanks Douglas and dpe.ahoy, as you can see I am still up.  Being so close to surgery I don't want to take a pain pill so I just deal with it.  I just got back from Amtrac picking up a friend from Wisconson.  He is going to go out with me, and be my helper for the next couple of days hoping I at least get a couple of does, and maybe my A tag filled as well.  It would be nice to at least get one if not all 3 tags filled.

Douglas that is a nice mulie buck there, congrats to you and thanks I will need the help with this while I'm layed up.
