Transition officials call it Obama 2.0- an ambitious effort to transition the president elects vast Web operation and database of supporters into a modern new tool to accomplish his goals in the White house.
If it works, the new president could have a unprecedented ability to appael for help from millions of Amerivans who already favor his ideas, bypassing the news media to pressure Congress.
He's built the largest network anyone has ever seen in politics, Dumbocratic strategist Joe Trippi proclaims. The results he says will be "amazing to watch."

If upon registering for his website you have to answer 1% of the questions he is asking on his applications for White House jobs, you might want to stay away from Obama 2.0. He is asking the craziest questions. He even wants to know your past girl/boy friends. Check it out for yourself.

I must ask. Do you what what "Obama 2.0" is? It's talking about Web 2.0. Do you know what Web 2.0 is? That is what I don't understand because Web 2.0 is a GOOD thing. Obama is just using it. Explain your reason this is bad?

orange&blueguy I think you are mistaken here... obama 2.0 is his database being used to spread his propaganda to those loyal to him and him being able to get real time data from them or whatever else he needs.

I understand that Web 2.0 is a good concept and that ob will use some of the tech from it in his obama 2.0 but they are NOT the same thing by any means...

I uderstand the propaganda part of it and the Web 2.0 is another "tool" he is using. I just don't see this as a end all bad thing. It is just another means though we don't like it. I guess I don't see the big deal with it.

to be honest me either as the info he has will be on those loyal to him anyway... my comments were merely because I read it as you thought they were the same but after rereading your post I saw a line I missed...

The Republicans could take a lesson from this technique. Find out what the core conservatives want and then incorporate these ideas into policy for 2010.

They shouldn't allow him to use their database to spread his propaganda nonsense. It scares to to think what he is going to do tho those that aren't loyal to him.

No, the president won't have the time or inclination to read these emails. He will rely on his civilian defense force to pick them apart and determine which ones are detrimental to his legacy. Then it will these same defense force that enforce compliance through the Fairness Doctrine to prevent further spreading of rumors and dissension.
