TC Triumph .50cal
« on: November 14, 2008, 07:18:35 AM »
I recently purchased a TC Triumph in .50cal.  I am using 110grs Blackhorn 209 with TC 250gr shockwave sabots.  It shoots hunting good(2-1/2" @ 100yards)  I was hoping to get it to do a little better.  Anybody with suggestions for loads using Blackhorn209?

Try 90grs. BH209 and 300gr 452. XTP bullet. Mine shoots into one hole at 100 yds.   The 300gr.XTP is devistating on deer. ;)

I second the 300 grain XTP. Excellent performance

Thanks for the reply,  I shot 300gr.TC shockwaves with 110grs. of Blackhorn 209 and got great results.  I will try your suggestions.  Always looking for a great load.  I think that is half the fun.  Besides if you miss a shot at least you know it it probably was not the "machine, it was you"
Thanks again,  Walt
