The family of Martin Luther King Jr is demanding a share of proceeds from the sale of T-shirts, posters and merchandise depicting the slain civil rights leader alongside Barack Obama.

Obama collected $650 million, so certainly he can afford to pay for the images.  After all, he just wants to spread the wealth around right?  As he wants to spread the wealth around he won't mind paying for those how stole the images either right?

I hope the King family is justly compensated.

Troyboy you are absolutely right. The name Obama is enough to make a strong man puke. You forgot one more name that will turn a stomach. Martin Luther King. Think I need a shot of Alka-seltzer.

Yet another typical example of black americans wanting a handout!!
How do you starve a black american? You hide his food stamps in his work boots!!
Ok, not all of them....how about 95% of them

Hey come on folks, please keep it clean and nonracial here. Don't stoop to the levels of other forums. Its one of the reasons I enjoy GB. My kids are a bunch of colors and one is brown as he calls himself.  There are darned good guys of all colors in my town, gun owners and hunters too and there's no need to go alienating good folks.

I agree there are both good and bad in all the various skin tones found around the world. There are also both good and bad to be found in every nationality. It's not the color or tone of the skin nor the nationality to which one is born that decides if they turn out to be good or bad.

I think it has more to do with how a child is raised that determines the eventual outcome of whether they are good or bad. BUT when one starts associating the color of their skin or their nationality or their religion with who and what they are as opposed to base values then they tend to get off track and no matter the color, nationality or religion at that point they usually turn toward the bad.
