Glenfield 30 that I bought for the grandson.  Had to try it out and make sure it works o.k.   170 Gr. Remmy factory load   35 yds.

  Great deer!

    But, too bad you didn't shoot him with a .338 Mag (or larger caliber) or he might have been killed "deader" and you probably wouldn't have had to track him 25 feet or so.  I'm sure you've learned your lesson!  :-)
