November 23, Good morning Montana
« on: November 23, 2008, 04:32:35 AM »
Good morning everyone.  Cool 21 degrees this morning and windy. Not going to a be an out door kind of day to day.

I have been spending a lot of time hunting, and doing research on my Martini Henry book, and working on the shop.  I think I will take the day off and just enjoy the arts and culture...yep turned on the TV and tuned into Encore Western Channel and will watch old cowboy movies all day.  It's starting off with that fine classic Gerenimo starring Chcuk Connors.  You need to take a day off even when you are retired.

Good morning back at ya.  Worked yesterday, so have to much to do to take the day off today.  Still hoping to get out next weekend for some more hunting.  Where was the news on extending the Elk season?  Gotta 14 yr old boy and myself with Elk tags yet, his first hunting season.  DP

You need to take a day off even when you are retired.

I was tired when I went to bed last night, then I woke up at 12:30am and finally got re-tired enough to fall asleep again at 05:00am woke up later only to feel re-tired all over again.

Are you sure re-tiredment is all that it is cracked up to be?

I hope you all had a good day, mine was better .... LOL

Went upstairs this afternoon to get a glass of ice tea.  Saw the lunch dishes sitting in the sink so I washed them.  Wife came and saw and said, what's this all about.  Told her, I'm retired, I have time now.  She gave me a funny look and left the room.  I hope she doesn't think I will be making a habit of doing that.
