aftermarket scope base for #1

i am in need of an aftermarket base for a #1.i have a rifle with a "beuller" base on it.it does not use the factory rib,which is not on the rifle.the rings are to close to the base which severely limits the choice of scope.i need a complete base set-up,or a new scope rib and a set of rings.anyone know of a manu. other than factory.thx,adker

I have a Ruger #1 base that has a rear sight notch, I don't need it.
If that is what you need, I'll send it to you.

I have a #1 in .458 wm with a leupold 2.5x scout scope using low ruger rings.
Also have #1 in .338 wm with leupold 3.5x10x40mm in double offset rings that
bring scope back far enough but had to file down front of rib to clear objective.
I was thinking about using the base conversion to use weaver rings but thought
it would be to high.  I also tried after market base from brownells made by Mueller
and it caused the windage to be to the end of adjustment, sent it back. I had
always wished Ruger would have adopted the weaver style base like TC Icon,
better choice of rings and I think stronger.

The rib is being mailed tomorrow, it is marked B on underside,
I thought this one had the rear sight cut but just holes for screws,
blue steel, for Ruger rings. Hope it helps.
