A few years ago I hit a deer in my 2001 Jeep Cherokee at about 5:00 am on my way to work. Had the cruise set at 80 and never had time to touch the brakes before impact. Hit the deer right square in the middle of the grill while she was standing broadside and basically turned her inside out. What was left of her traveled 120 yards down the highway. $4500 in damage to the jeep. Don't recommend a Jeep to hit deer with due to the insane cost of factory jeep parts but it was a good excuse not to go to work that day

You guys are all using too much gun! I killed my first doe with a 1980 honda civic with about 20" tires. I'm not sure it is a legal caliber. I think it would be lumped in there with a 22 rimfire.

Well my brother got one last weekend with a Tahoe going about 75. He said the thing went flying through the air, but he stopped farther down the highway and didn't go looking for it. If it walked after that hit, it didn't go far.
