Caribou Antlers Finished... Finally.

Well, not completely, I still need to touch up the varathane in a couple spots. 

The backing is some pine, cut in strips, glued, and stained in dark walnut.  The front piece is clear pine, varathaned.  The leather is pig haircell, died black. 

The antlers themselves were stained with dark walnut also to cover for blood stains, and then varathaned.  Turned out not too shabby I think.

Got the littles ladies done, hers weren't in velvet, so didn't use stain to cover anything up, just a little sandpaper and spray on varathane, I think the color contrast works pretty well.
