Took Omega to range on Monday. Tried the new FTP bullets from Hornady. Also tried TC Maxiballs that I had made for my flintlock. Actually got tighter groups at 100 yds. from the Maxiballs and no flyers. Also no keyholes. FYI 100 grains of powder. Tried 110 grs with FTP's, but group started to spread. What really amazed me was they both shot within same area on target without changing scope settings. Don't know which one I'll use for deer next week. It's a toss up because I really like the way the FTP's open up and retain most of their weight. They just don't have a tight of group as the Maxi's do.
