Price check please
« on: December 15, 2008, 09:40:18 AM »
So I am starting to look for a GP100 in 357 mag 6 in. barrel-what would be a price range used?
I will be talking to a guy later today who is selling one plus he has a BH stainless 357 as well what should I expect?  He has a RH 44cal too. Don't know the description of them yet...just looking for a rough ballpark estimate. This is in Ohio.  I saw a new GP100 at Cabelas last week for $489 before taxes, etc.

thanks,
Joe

Not as up to date on the ruger D/A's but I do believe the bbl shrouad length makes a difference on some of them.  Up this way a common 6" one, heck any GP moel, will be priced in the $450+/- range if used.

Maybe ask him what he has to have out of them individually or all together.I had a co-worker a couple months ago that wanted to sell a gp100 6'' stainless. He said he never used it and wanted to buy a shotgun,he said he bought it from a friend for 300.He knew I was interested and asked if I would give him what he paid for it.I said sure,so you never know what's on their mind everyone is different.Your in the ballpark on the new ones, around here they're close to 499 I believe in 6'' and stls. The other two I can't say.

great idea stevinator! I will see what he is looking for. I have looked up several of these online too at the auction sites so I know approx. what they are going for. Thanks.
