Changed the greeting.  Good morning everyone. 

Well deer season is over for another year.  I hope everone got a bit of venison to hold them over until spring. 

This was my first deer season since I retired.  It was also my first Montana Deer season since 2001. In 2002 I hunted South Africa. In 2003 and 2004 I hunted with a hunting club in South Carolina.  what a joke this was.  In two years i saw three deer, all three very far away and in high gear moving through the brush.  I can't tell you if the animals were buck or does as they moved so fast.

No I am very glad to be back in Montana. I don't know how many deer seasons I have left in me, but as long as I can I will hunt.

Just being in Montana has to add several seasons to your life!  Guess I'm not ready to be a writer ;D, but that's OK, not my cup of tea.  Much more of a reader myself. ::)  DP

Well the season is over for me.... now it's time to get my S&W 629 D&T'd for a scope for a more interesting season next year  ::)

Anyway, we're still waiting on snow.
