Buckmark Project
« on: July 03, 2010, 05:26:57 AM »
Got an itch to own a semi auto 22 pistol so I stopped by a friends gunshop yesterday. After checking out several new ones I settled on a used Buckmark that was mechanically sound but the finish was pretty sad. The nickle plating was coming off in several places and the black plating on the top strap was coming off. Price was right so I brought it home and ran a couple of mags thru it to make sure it went bang. Callled a friend that has a process for putting a great camo finish on guns and he said to bring it over. He'll start on it next week but in the meantime I ordered several more mags, a tactical leg holster and a set of Williams fire sights. Will have more pics as soon as the camo job is done.
