Ideal mould block #338320
« on: November 30, 2008, 01:37:22 PM »
Just purchase a couple of mould blocks from a gentleman..one is a .429 245 grainer (still listed by Lyman), but the second one is marked on the outside of the box with a ball point pen as model #338320..I'm assuming its a .338 diameter..but have no clue as to the weight.  Have e-mailed lyman..but may or may no get a reply.

Anyone know what weight bullet this mould will cast?

Yep, I have that mold, 200 gr. FPGC, wheelweights with a little tin and shot at 1800 to 2000 makes  a good Deer and practice load for the .338 cal.
