S&W model 60 Pro
« on: December 09, 2008, 04:55:19 PM »
Anyone knows how much are the S&W 60Pro revolvers are going for?  I am looking to get one of those to take it anywhere with me from hunting to plinking and beyond ;D.  I am wondering what kind of accuracy the have.  Any info. will be appreciated.  See the web link below.

Dealer price from a large wholesaler(Zanders) is = $554.40.
So considering the above add shipping, transfer fees or your FFLs profit margin.

Camba, I don't have the 60Pro but I have the 60 3" adj. sighted full under lug model
That was the forerunner of the Pro.  I love it.  Accuracy is excellent, the pro should be the same.  For woods carry or when hunting with a rifle it's loaded with 185 cast at 900 fps.  I can usually stay on a paper plate at 100 yds. offhand with that load.  I've been lusting after the 5" but when I got this one I pd. $360 and now they are about $200 more.  The pro looks good and I bet you'll love it.

The GunBlast was an excellent report.  Thank you Chris.
Although the gun did not prove great accuracy, it seems that the second one did improve.  I stil like to take the chance and get one one of this days.
