December 5, Good morning GBO
« on: December 05, 2008, 02:50:12 AM »
Good morning everyone.  Well Global warming is back and it a nice pleasnt 31 degrees this morning.  The wind blew pretty good last night and most of the snow is blown away.

Montanan you better be doing your therapy, because Sunday you are going to have to do the morning greeting.  I'm headed to Washington State and won't be back until next Friday.  Typing should be good therapy for your shoulder.

Deer season has just ended here in Montana so it's time to start planning for next year.  Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks has posted the dates for 2009 seasons and can be found here, 2009 Season Dates

I suggest you save the FWP website and make it a point to visit it regularly.  After the first of the year they will start putting up announcements about the various drawings, so watch for them.

If you are thinking about coming to Montana next season take a look at the Non Resident License page at Non-Resident Licence Information.  This page will give you some idea what license and permits are normally availalble, the cost and the deadlines for application.  Remember however when looking at this page it is the 2008 page.  There can and most likely will be changes. Watch for the 2009 list to be posted.

Yup, the "Snow Eater" hit last night.  We did have a fair sized drift in the drive this morning though.  Melted pretty good today, sounds like on thru Sunday with the wind and warmer temps.  Hope so, my wife is headed back from B.C. this weekend and I worry about her driving on bad roads, and oldest boy is also driving behind her in his car.  His first year driving in snow.  Have a safe trip Double D.  DP
