Does anybody know if the Nissan Titan still has brake problems or did they finally fix that?

The Titan that you mention is the 2004 Nissan Titan.  2004 was the first year and it did have a significant break eating problem.  In early 2008 I purchased a used 2004 Nissan Titan 4x4 Crew Cab from a Nissan dealer in Baltimore, MD.  The dealer said that Nissan did a sort of recall / universal fix in lae 2005.  I just want to say that I absolutely love my Titan and have had no break problems at all.  My crew cab hauls 4 children in the back and the off road capability is outstanding.  I have used 4 high many times and 4 low once.  I would recommend this truck.

I'm sure they are good trucks.  Nissan made all the makes look sick when they first came out.  I don't think they've changed much since 2004. I've got a friend that owns a 2005. The only thing he has complained about is gas mileage.  I asked him what he was getting and he said about 12-15 in town and 17-18 on the highway.  I laughed because all of them get about that or worse.  The only negative I've seen is the small rear ends they come with.  They just don't look big enough for heavy towing compared to Dodge, Ford, Chevy, and Toyota.

The only thing I can say about the gas mileage... it is what it is.  When you buy a full sized truck like the Titan you are acknowledging that gas mileage is not the driving factor in your life.  For example, I have a small Toyota Echo that I use for my daily commute into Pittsburgh.  I really don't want to put 100 miles a day on my Titan.  However, for any non commuting drive I will be in my Titan.  As for the towing capactiy they are in line with all the other full size trucks.  I have carried over a 1/2 ton of river rock, in my bed on multiple occassions, and the truck has been flawless.
