December 6, Good morning GBO
« on: December 06, 2008, 02:15:25 AM »
Well with last nights freezing rain that came in and as I type there is more of it coming down.  I woke to check conditions and found that it had already snowed a bit as well.  The snow is fine, but with the mix of ice snow and then over ice, it's gonna make for bad driving conditions around the valley.

Everyone drive safe today.

Good morning Montanan.  41 degrees and rain this morning on this side of the mountain.   Forecast calling for rain and snow showers today.  normally I wouldn't complain, but I have to drive to Great Falls tomorrow and catch a plane.  Not looking forward to the drive or flight in this weather.

Woke up to rain this morning, pretty slick on the icy spots, like my sidewalk! :o  Rain stopped abput 11:00am and got partly cloudy.  Most snow and ice is gone on the roads now.  Wife and kids got back about noon :) from driving over from Vancouver BC and didn't have to much trouble on the interstate.  Was a real relief when they got here, was worried most of the day yesterday and this morning.  There are a few passes between Billings and there that can be bad.  Just about up to full staff here at the house now, Mother-in-law is back and all the kids will be here for a week or so before the oldest girl moves out again.  9 or 10 in the house, doesn't make alot of difference. :D  DP
