In the market for a slug gun.
« on: December 02, 2008, 10:41:30 AM »
I would really like a bolt action slug gun but not a custom made one. which companies make them still?

I do have a Ithica model 37 which I have given thought to just buying a hastings slug barrel for it. Any advice on that?

Savage 210 is the only non-custom bolt-action (I think) still being produced.
Mossberg made the 695 & you can still find them.
Browning made one but they are expensive when you find them.

i have shot the mossberg and the savage. both are good guns. i prefer the h and r ush 12ga. it is a single shot but you can't beat it for the money.
