What'ch send this weather down here for. 17* this morning 27* high .Back down to 16* tonight.

Aww heck lets go all the way and give Slimey -12 with windchills.............going  -20  ect ect...   when you pull a bvr thru the ice if you dont roll  him in snow you got a chunk of ice..... plus you have to put your trap back in water in ice hole so  ice melts off so you can set it..... sound like fun Newt???   ;D

  Here's a clue to go by Newt;
   Snow underfoot, goes from a crunch to a high pitched squeek..at about -15F. Listen for the changeover!   ;) :D ;D

Shucks i guess we wont be able to give ol Slimey his CHRISTmas gift of snowshoes to help us carry out bvrs .   It would be nice for him to test the new shoes out in 3-6 feet of new snow.....Just think Newt , you would be able to make snow angels, Newty style in the DEEP snow........ ;D

I got to see your snaring demo at the WV Trappers Association meet a couple of months ago.  You really made it look simple thanks for being willing to share your time and skill.   You mentioned that you were going to be doing some snaring in WV.  What area are you going to be trapping in?

We had a some freezing rain yesterday which made for a fun drive to grandma's house. But it's not bad out now.

Live is too short Boggy. You got to realize that .
Never seen a Herst with Luggage rack or one towing a U-Haul.
I can feel my hips starting to go. It wont be many more years that I can get out there and "GO". I'll be out there. But I'll be a lot slower.
