Is it worth it?
« on: December 02, 2008, 08:39:10 AM »
I'm interested in the t/c encore and I have the chance to purchase one with a 22-250 bull brl. and it also comes with a .50 muzzle loader.
They are a year old and he's only put a couple of rounds through the .50 and has used the 22-250 for 'yotes and say's it's a tack driver.
Is $500.00 out of line for this setup -- just by checking brl. prices it sounds like a steal.
I don't know if it's ss or not or if it's a pro-hunter.Just that it's been taken care of and he's wanting to get bolt action for yote hunting only.

Any insight would be greatly apprecitated.

It would be a good deal around my parts even for the basic blue regular Encore.  If it is stainless or Pro Hunter even better.

Jump on it before it gets away! That's a very good deal.

It is a great deal!  I would expect to have to pay $600 or more for a used combo like that.
