Firearm deer season started here in MO yesterday, windy as all get out. Saw nothing in the AM, and heard only one shot. That evening snow started spitting and the wind layed a little, deer must have been everywhere. I saw three, took this roughly 3 year old doe out of the first 2 I saw. Heard about 70+ shot(lost count after about 50), so everyone else must have seen them as well. Using the .243 barrel, and did not make a very good shot at her quartering away. She ran about 125-150 yds, blood trail stopped at about 100 yards. Shot her right before dark and was not able to find her in the dark when the trail ran out. Went out this morning and could see her from where the blood stopped. The Prvi ammo I was using did a good job considering my not so stellar shooting. I don't usually hunt at home, so this was the first deer my kids have seen that wasn't already processsed, so they wanted in the picture. Now to get one with the muzzleloader. Thanks, Billy
