 ive got the busted first knuckle to prove it.. if i don t cover the index knuckle the thing is gonna make me pay for the accurateness i get from the rifle..kinda reminds me of some of the tools i use to work with.. :) if it couldn t be fixed [glove].. id still choose the 110 in 06..never thought id ever get one that i could be this sure of..

I guess I have missed something over the years.  I have been shooting a 110CL for almost 40-years in .270 and I have never busted a knuckle.

I also popped a few rounds from a friend's 110 in 30-06 without a busted knuckle.

The original steel butt plate beat the hick out of me, which corrected with a recoil pad.

The only rifle/carbine that I recall to bust the knuckles fiercely was a Ruger #3 in .375 Win to the point that we had the butt replaced with a pistol grip and the metal reformed to fit .
