GBmortar
« on: December 20, 2008, 02:06:13 PM »
Golf ball mortar that my buddy built. Other buddy built the sled out of black walnut. The gauge upfront is purely ornamental. He's fired over 300 golfballs out of this thing. The hayfield next door looked like it had orange collored smallpox when they did the last cut Neighbor was nice enough to bring all the balls back. I think weve got another one hooked.

I think this is it.

Thanks for the help. I seem to fail everytime I try to add a photo. I already tucked my tail between my legas and asked one of the moderaters to help. I tried using photobucket but the letters are so small they are hard to read with my trifocals. Im going to try again with some christmas shiny things that go boom along the beer can size

Photobucket is pretty easy to load pictures from.

Move your cursor over the picture you want to post and a menu drops down.  Move your cursor down to the IMG code.  Click on the window and the code will high light.  With your cursor on the highlighted text,  copy it.   You can copy by hit it CTRLC or you right click and select copy from the drop down menu,

Go to you post and click in the reply window and paste by either hitting CTRL V or right click and select paste from the drop down. The link you paste will be preformatted so you won't have to do anything else.  This will work with https://www.gboreloaded.com/mhp/ also.

Make sure you do not post a picure link on the same line as text. Hit enter twice at the end of a sentence and then paste the picture link.

Nice looking GB Mortar, pics came thru good on my end! :-)  Got a pair of 1" Mortars coming, from Classic, a Coehorn and a Confederate Siege Mortar. I'll try to send pics, hope they look and fire as well as this one! BoomLover
