December 16, Good Afternoon GBO
« on: December 16, 2008, 11:04:58 AM »
Well after coming down with something, I'm finally getting around to checking in.  It is a nice +3, but was in the minus a while ago.... I swear it was.

I'm not going to find out the differance today because I'm not going out in this stuff.

I need some coffee though

Good morning Joh, DP, James,

I don't want to appear to be bragging, but it's a balmy 10 degrees right now here in Cut Bank.

There are little things that you need to learn living in places that can get cold.  Little things like where is the plug for the engine heater...2002 Ford F150 left front Bumper behind parking light.  Never put the parking brake on whe it's going to freeze...when will the wife ever learn...found out the brake works when I went to the post office this morning...luv ya dear!

Now I would have paid to see that, Douglas  ;D

I had just made some coffee using my French Press, and now I'm wired for sure and for certain..... but at least I had some coffee.  TV gets old, the hunting shows get old but I'm kinda in a fix right now anyway so I keep watching re-runs hoping the outcome will change  ::) like that's gonna happen but we can hope maybe.

Douglas we need to have a winter Bar-B-Que what you think.... I think in our nice Montana weather the fire just might be afraid of the cold even  ;D

Barbecue...I got nervous.  Since just moving back from SA, I still think of Braai instead of barbecue...the South Africans braai at the drop of a hat.  Go to the range for the weekend club shoot and bring meat and braai.  Go to the Cannon Club shoot and bring your meat and braai after the shoot.  The Sharks are playing the Blue Bull for the Rugby Currie cup, bring the meat we'll braai. Oh the nervous part.  Everybody wear shorts and sandals to braai...can you imagine the frost bite if we wore shorts and sandals to barbecue right now. ;D ;D

I will be seeing the Doctor tomorrow here in Cut Bank.  I am sure he is going to want me to go to his Clinic over in Kalaispell for tests and surgery...I'll let you buy the Coffee when/if I come over.

Hey, come on guys, share the + weather with us here in Billings.  It may have gotten over the 0 mark today for 5 seconds, but the wind was blowing pretty good so still pretty nasty out side.  Parked a reefer trailer where we are handing out the holiday meals and gifts and loaded half up with turkeys, the reefer hasn't come close to starting yet.  Start handing out the gifts and meals tomarrow, only have 350 scheduled for the first day.  Where is my Icy Hot?  Maybe the old man staring at me in the mirror really is me. ;D  DP
