.44 Mag overbore question.
« on: December 15, 2008, 03:27:13 AM »
I've since moved on to the .30/30 barrel but would really like to use this barrel for Primitive season.  I have two questions;  How accurate would it be if one could buy the .432 cast with a gascheck and worked up a decent load with H110?  Also if anyone who has used cast bullets on deer could tell me their experience with that non-expanding bullet on deer?

BTW I've heard that Beartooth is very slow in delivery but they do have the larger (.432) bore sizes that might work in the oversize bore of the older .44s.

The Montana site looks good.  I wish I knew what weight would be the most accurate and how they work on game.
