« on: April 01, 2009, 04:04:32 AM »
i watch the tv shows an can t even relate to these guys..
i know they are about making money with hunting gear..
thats what pays for the tv show.. but to me i can t help it ..its a bit of a turn off..outfit looks like it cost mabe a thousand then the cost of the gun an of course 50 dollar a box ammo..this is not meant as a slap at those hunters who hunt this way..its great looking stuff. but nothin like i look ,in the woods...one day these guys are gonna buy the body
heat sensor ,i guess.. i ll have to be more careful how close i lettum get to me on the way to thier stand..to each his on ,,an i really mean that.. ive not really got my woods stealth skills back after 2 yrs in the woods..but im getting there..i have an accurate rifle, water proof clothes ,,water an if absolutely necessary some deet..
but that high end stand an variouse other things they use would just be in my way..wait i take it back .. im jus jealous i guess..but they won t know because if i have my way they won t ever know im there..
this from a fellow from an family that was depression orientated ....
im tryin to get ready for a depression that may shade the first one..i just hope im dead wrong.. slim

... :)

Slim rim I can understand where you are coming from.  All the focus on expensive toys turns me off also.  Same thing with fishing shows.

Slim, don't be  down on yourself, I said many times these guys could find their way out of a chunk of public land to save their soul without a guide or an atv trail. I hunt bug chunks of public land in northern Wisconsin and never even heard of one of these guys on public land where you hunt for a week to see a few deer. They would be packed up by noon!
