243 AI help

:D Need some help with load data for a 243AI--15inch encore barrel. Plan on shooting heavier bullets for deer size game. Any help is appreciated. Ed  :grin:

you should be able to load near max regular .243 loads to form the improved case. the hodgdon annual manual(around $7) should list 15" .243 data.
i am forming 30-30AI with max regular 30-30 loads, and it works great. then work up slowly after the cases are formed.
you can also shoot factory .243 loads in it to form the case. this also works fine in my 30-30AI. you may already know this stuff, but just trying to help. :D

I would call Hodgdon first, and they will likely send you the data free via e-mail as an attachment for the 243 AI if they have it or they will have someone to refer you to.  You can also use the 6mm Rem. data once your cases are fireformed.  Using caution as you work your loads up of course.
What part of eastern Kansas?  I live in Hutch.

The barrel is an original chamber Bullberry 15 inch bull barrel.  Thanks Ed
