« on: December 19, 2008, 04:45:57 AM »
I have a BPS w/mossyoak b/u finish. Does anyone know of a solvent that is safe if it comes in contact with the finish?

I believe the answer is yes it should be safe with almost all solvents but there might be one of some sort that will get it. I've had several of the camo dipped guns and in fact still have several and so far nothing I've gotten on one has bothered the finish it's a really tough finish.

Since it's a shotgun there is really no need for anything other than the old standby Hoppe's #9. That's all I ever use on shotguns.
