45 Colt / .410 barrel on a SB-2 frame, .45-70 Loads?

If a guy had a .45 Colt / .410 barrel on a SB-2 frame, Used full brass .410 shells, could he load it using .45-70 Trap Door loads?

Thinking of an Ohio deer gun  :-)

That wouldn't be a good idea, the 45-70 and 410 are two different cartridges, using 45-70 trapdoor data in the 410 case could create pressures the 1137 barrel isn't made for, the 45 Colt and 410 operate at ~14kpsi, trapdoor loads in a 45-70 case can start at well above that, you should search for info for the 450 Mongo which is what you're looking to do.

Can you explain this further? I just dont understand how you can put  45 colt ammo and fire it in a .410. I also can't figure out how you can load a 45-70 with bird shot and put it in a .410. Can you explain how this would be done?

It's not just a 410 barrel, it's a 45Colt/410 Survivor barrel which normally comes on an SB1 frame, that's why he wants to use an SB2 frame with it. The barrel is fully rifled with a screw choke tube that is removed when shooting 45 ammo.
