.243 SB2 Limited Edition
« on: December 21, 2008, 02:21:43 PM »
Hi all! I am fairly new to this site, and I would like to say thanks to all those who post. I've been doing some research here for a little while and still have one question. I traded for a Handi Rifle SB2 in .243 Winchester, it has the heavy barrel and camo lam stocks. On the butt stock it has a gold medallion with H&R 1871 Limited Edition. Did H&R make this setup or did someone just do stock swap? I can't seem to find much about it.

Thanks again,
Jeff

Welcome! It's hard telling, swap stocks are common, but there have been lots of those made over the years in many different configurations. You can determine when the frame was made in the FAQs and Help sticky, a good place to spend lots of time reading.  ;)
