Good morning every one.  Clear and sunny -11 degrees this morning.  Got the walks shoveled early this morning, had about three inches to move. 

Weather is good enough to get out and around this morning.  We are going to drive around this morning to the farms and ranches we hunt on and drop of a thank you Christmas card and a box of choclates. 

I have always made it a point to do this every year.  It's a small thing and it helps the landowner remember me. You should always say thank you.

Now they will really remember you if they gain weight from them chocolates 

It is a bit warmer over here today which I am so thankful for......... 13* according to MyMontana.com but my thermostat right outside say's 20*

I like to give them some of the deer I get, jerky goes over real good.  We have been holding above zero so not to bad.  DP

Don't make jerky or sausage anymore. Selfish when comes to venison. Don't like to share.

Use to give the landowner a bottle a of whiskey.  Thenl I found out one of the guys use to be the town drunk until he dried out.  He graciously accepted the bottle witout saying a thing.  When I found out I was apologetic.  He got a good laugh out of it and said he poured  lot of good drinking whiskey down the drain every Cchristmas.
