"Weapons Cache"??????????

"Authorities seized a small cache of weapons and ammunition from the New Jersey home of New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, the New York Post and Newsday both reported Wednesday, possibly setting up the embattled player for more legal trouble.

The Post, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, said a 9-mm handgun, a rifle and ammunition for three other guns — a .380, a .45 and a .40, the same caliber of gun Burress accidentally shot himself with — were seized during the execution of a search warrant at Burress' home in Totowa."  (AP)

Geez..if that's a weapons cache, then I have an arsenal fit for a small third world African country.

I read that headline and expected more than small arms...
I'm sure this sensationalized crap will only get worse in the next few years.

I always find it interesting when they say they arrested them with "hundreds" of rounds of ammo...Sounds like someone who owns a Rem 870 and a Ruger 10/22.

Yup, and did you catch the reportette describing the horror, that these weapons were not even registered.

Couple of bulk pack 22s and you have thousands of rounds of ammo.

  I thought it was pretty funny too. Sensationalized to say the least. The way they made it sound he should have had an ICBM under his bed.......
