Has it all been said??

I know that I am not the only one on this forum who owns a Glock. Matter of fact, I own three: Mdl 19/Mdl21/Mdl36.  I must assume that your experiences with Glocks has been like mine, boringly reliable, and accurate with very little maintainence or modifications needed. I still have my 1911s to fill the tinker void. I love myAstras/Smiths/Rugers/ Kimbers/Smiths/IAIs/Kel-Tecs/Colts and whatever else I might dig out of my safe, but I have to admit I have developed a grudging respect for the Combat Tupperware. My mdl 36 is box stock with the exception of night sights and a Glock Clip. (Yes I carry it IWB without a holster) My Mdls 19 and 21 have had the grips stippled and the finger grooves removed, night sights added and the 5# connector replaced with the 3.5#. The Mdl 21 has the 6.5# firing pin spring for added reliability with Winchester primers in my lead IDPA loads. Oh yeah, I shoot the lead in a Federal Ordinance barrel. I have seen thousands of rounds sent down range thru Glocks and have not seen a malfunction that was not ammo related. Has anyone out there had a different experience with these ugly ducklings??????

Dennis,
Ok, i'm game. I have a fobus paddle and a Unckle mikes belt holster along with double mag holders and cuff case in the Kydex type material.
I carry the 21 in a Safariland SLS (lined Kydex) duty rig as well. My favorite for strong side concealed carry is the Hunter #2809. This is a three slot holster that rides very high for concealment or with a good forward rake. I like a good leather holster but it's hard to beat the Kydex for extreme service.
Stay Safe,

I carry my G20 in a Comp-Tac Kydex "Shirt Tucker" holster most of the time. I also use some Uncle Mikes nylon holsters for other uses. MI VHNTR

I also carry the G20 in the Shirt Tucker in shorts and a t-shirt in the summer. I just wear a larger than normal shirt, so if it's tucked in, the excess can "cover" the location of the G20. A good spot is the small of the back for this type of carry. It works for me.  :-) MI VHNTR

:D Good evening gentlemen.   In response to weapon malfunctions with a Glock i can give you the following stats.  Over 300 factory out of the box guns..9mm,.45,.40.10mm,.357 Sig....Now take all those knew trainees, give em a case of ammo...also include the training updates, for each officer(range time).  Now take since 1988,and if ya wants you can do the figures....cause what it amounts to was  1  malfunction that we could attribute to the gun itself.   I think we had over a dozen that were attributed to the ammo that was being used(no primer makes it kinda hard to go bang, fer example),or limpwristing of the weapon itself  also accounted for a few.  My modl 19 has about 25,000 rounds thru it,my 22 and 17 have  multiple thousands also.  After all this,i would say they be great guns.   For the rest of ya with yer holsters,I feel kinda wierd cause I hardly use a holster when i was off duty, tucked in front with a floppy shirt.  Works fer me.    I fergot to add that each officer hasta qualify 4 times a year with about 200 rounds also....ats a lota bangin boys.  There are just not any real good malfunctions that i can attribute to the Glock except for that 1 time, and i think it was the extracter if i remember correctly.  stay safe...king
